Plunge Into Yin Yoga



As the winter days are nearing an end, the sun is rising earlier, with time enough to hit the beach for a pre-sunrise walk and meditation. The few minutes before sunrise is my favourite time of the morning.

Although my yoga practice does change throughout the year, season to season, I mostly dive into an energetic morning yoga asana practice. Not only does an energetic sequence warm up my body but it sets the tone for the day, helping me stay focused and calm. This week I have been practising being kind to my body in a different way; the mornings have been about tuning in, in seated meditation.
