Turn Inward, it’s a Practice. Helpful hints to get you started.

Do you want to feel amazing, to give yourself renewed energy, and to find time and space for nourishing self-care? Read on to discover easy-to-do practices to turn inward, relax, recover, and ultimately feel rejuvenated. I feel amazing after my morning of self-care. It started with a good night’s sleep, then my morning Ashtanga Yoga practice, followed by a walk on the beach, a healthy breakfast, and a very relaxing Yin Yoga practice in the winter sun. I have to schedule this time for myself. Over winter, I have taken my opportunity to tune out and turn in, so I feel rejuvenated for the rest of the week and the rest of the year. Winter is a great time to spend relaxing but during other times of the year, it’s important to recognise your own cues to rest and recover, as well.

Many of us struggle to engage in me-time. Don’t we? Whether you’re studying, working full time or part-time, or have two jobs, kids, others to care for, and other commitments, we just keep on going and going.

So how do we take time to relax when we’re so busy?
